For many years V-LUX has been a partner of OAO “Vymplecom” in construction of platforms and systems
of digital TV distribution.
- In 2012-2013 V-LUX supplied the satellite communication equipment for the teleports of OAO “Vympelcom”.
- In autumn 2012 V-LUX supplied the IPTV head-end equipment for “Beeline-TV” project. The equipment complex
includes the devices of receipt, compression and processing of digital video by Harmonic and the switching and
redundancy devices by SNELL. The complex is controlled by the united system of control and monitoring Harmonic NMX.
IPTV broadcasting head-end is not only capable of broadcasting 80 SD and 10 HD channels to subscribers but also
of duplicating all the channels by the low-resolution picture for PIP service (picture-in-picture)
- In 2009 V-LUX supplied the equipment of digital TV platform for one of the biggest IPTV providers in Russia
– “Corbina” company.
- In 2010 V-LUX won the tenders for supply of Harmonic equipment to build 16 independent regional head-ends
of IPTV and expansion of central head-end of the Moscow region.
- Also in 2010 we supplied the equipment for forming the packages of “Beeline TV” including HD-channels.
For content quality control the complex of digital video monitoring was constructed enabling surveillance
on the quality of broadcasting of more than 200 SD/HD channels of a provider.
- In 2008-2009 V-LUX became the system integrator in creation of the platform of digital mobile TV and
construction of single-frequency network of mobile TV broadcasting for OOO “Dominanta” (subsidiary of OAO
“Vympelcom”). Within the framework of this system we realized the possibility of broadcasting of up to 16
digital TV channels in the networks of mobile TV in the standard of DVB-H.
Our major partner in the supply of equipment was Thomson/Grass Valley.
V-LUX participated in the following works:
