At mobile TV market our Customers are JSC “Vympelcom” and “Kentavr”. Besides digital TV platforms design, since 2008 V-LUX has effected the installation of transmitters and antenna units for such projects, and as well supplies broadcasting automation systems, interactive TV service platforms and other types of equipment.

In 2008-2009 V-LUX was the systems integrator which took part in the construction of digital mobile TV platform and design of single-frequency mobile television network for ООО “Dominanta” (subsidiary company of ОАО “Vympelcom”). Within this project broadcasting system for up to 16 digital TV channels in DVB-H networks was implemented. Our main vendor in this project was Thomson Grass Valley. V-LUX participated in the following activities:

At mobile TV market one of our long-term Customers is “Kentavr”. V-LUX did not only supply digital mobile television DVB-H head end equipment for this project but also broadcasting automation system based on server platforms Grass Valley K2, as well as также interactive television platform Smartvision. Our experts worked out for “Kentavr” project documentation, managed the project, installation and start-up works. V-LUX engineers also trained Customer’s staff on the use of the supplied equipment. V-LUX and Thomson controlled at all stages the quality of the delivered units. For Kentavr project V-LUX also supplied content distribution equipment via data transmission digital network.

In 2009 we supplied digital TV platform equipment for one of the largest IPTV providers in Russia – Corbina company

Specialists and experts of V-LUX are the authors of technical and commercial concept of digital teleradiobroadcasting development in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2008-2015. The right to design the concept document was won by V-LUX as a result of the tender organized by Culture and Information Ministry of Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2009 within the framework of this digital teleradiobroadcasting development plan, V-LUX has created and tested the pilot zone of DVB-T and DVB-H broadcasting.

Our key Customers in the field of digital cable TV are National Telecom Holding, which is a part of media holding “National Media Group” with its shareholder “Russia” bank, Renova Media Group of Companies (Akado trademark), Er-Telecom Holding, ComStar Holding. In 2009 V-Lux supplied the digital TV platform to Akado.

In 2009 V-LUX supplied the equipment to the largest DVB-C platform in Russia located in the city of Ufa (more than 200 channels).

V-LUX acted as systems integrator and supplier of equipment for digital satellite broadcasting in the projects of federal digital TV platforms: Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) and “Zharyk” project (DVB-S operator in Repblic of Kazakhstan). We have also taken part in content distribution system development for Viasat.

Digital TV satellite broadcasting platform for Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC): in 2006 V-LUX acted as systems integrator and supplier of equipment for federal digital broadcasting platform in MPEG-4AVC standard. The system was installed at the premises of RSCC.

Since 2009 the largest Russian broadband access system via cable TV network for JSC TKT (NCN Holding, St-Petersburg) started to use DOCSIS 3.0. standard. V-LUX has supplied and installed all the equipment for this largest project (more than 1.5 mln subscribers).

DVB-T complex in Urals region of the Russian Federation (Chelyabinsk and Kurgan districts): in October 2006 V-LUX together with Chelyabinsk affiliate JSC “Uralsvyazinform” firstly introduced in Russia pilot zone of multi-channel package digital TV broadcasting via DVB-T transmitter in MPEG-4 AVC standard. In 2006-2007 digital TV content distribution system was designed in Ural federal district, by means of digital transport network of JSC “Uralsvyazinform” in Chelyabinsk and Kurgan districts with addition of regional channels in 8 local areas. The system also comprises DVB-T transmitters in Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and some other cities of these districts.

In 2007 the system of digital TV signal distribution via digital transport network of JSC “Uralsvyazinform” was implemented. In 2002- 2003 the network for 202 000 subscribers for MSO «ТВТ-Kazan’» was designed. This project twice became the prize winner of the most prestigious award in the field of telecommunications - CSTB award.
